QGER's quality management system follows the American Petroleum Institute (API) Specs Q1 (9th edition) and ISO 9001:2015, alongside ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 for health and safety. Its API Spec Q1 registration covers the manufacture of ring joint gaskets, and it holds an API Monogram licence (6A-1161) for ring gaskets. Open the certificates directly.
German technology, Gulf manufacturing
Qatar German Gasket Plant (QGER) was the first German industrial gasket manufacturer established in Qatar. Founded in 2007, it has manufactured in Doha's New Industrial Area since 2008 to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), British Standards (BS) and Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) – German Institute for Standardization standards, using raw materials from approved suppliers in Europe and the USA. Its gaskets serve oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, water and power operators, including Saudi Aramco, with sales across the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
The plant covers 12,000 m². In 2014, Qatar Shell awarded QGER a five-year contract to supply gaskets to Pearl GTL in Ras Laffan, the world's largest gas-to-liquids plant.
Atlas Industrial Trading, based in Casablanca, brings that capability to Morocco, Africa and Europe with local technical support and a direct line to QGER engineering.

Spiral Wound
Semi-metallic gaskets of wound metal strip and graphite or PTFE filler, for service from vacuum up to Class 2500 and from cryogenic temperatures up to about 1,090 °C. Four styles, QSW1 to QSW4: QSW3, with an outer centring ring, is the standard choice for raised-face flanges, and QSW4 adds an inner ring for large, high-class or PTFE-filled gaskets.

Metal Jacketed
Heat exchanger gaskets with a thin metal shell around a resilient filler, usually graphite. Eight styles, QDJ1 to QDJ8, made in many shapes and sizes, including corrugated and French style.

Solid Metal
For pressures and temperatures that rule out soft materials. Flat, corrugated or graphite-faced (QSM1 to QSM3), in any size or shape.

Non-Metallic
Non-asbestos sheet, high-performance graphite, PTFE envelope gaskets (Y-form and U-form) and elastomeric rubber, supplied as cut shapes, sheets or rolls.
Ring Type Joints
Metallic sealing rings for high pressure and temperature, fitted in ring grooves. Types R, RX and BX, made to ASME B16.20 and API 6A, including well-head duty.
Camprofile
A grooved metal core with soft graphite or PTFE facing and a centering ring. Proven in demanding service with high pressure, high temperature and fluctuating conditions.

Expansion Joints
Garlock non-metallic expansion joints and flexible couplings that absorb movement and vibration, cut noise, correct misalignment and stop electrolysis between dissimilar metals. Used in power, chemical, water, marine, mining, pulp and paper, and HVAC systems.
Insulation Kits
Q-Seal kits electrically isolate flanged joints, with insulating gaskets, sleeves and washers in G-10, G-11, GRE or Mylar, for raised-face, flat-face and RTJ flanges.

Packings & Sealants
Precision-molded graphite packing rings for valves, pumps, turbines and high-temperature flanges. The graphite foil is BAM-approved for oxygen service up to 250 bar and 200 °C, with soluble chlorides below 20 ppm. Garlock, Burgmann and Gore packings and sealants are also available.
